Poetry, passion, equanimity or whatever you like to call it, is the relationship of the heart with the mind. The heart discovers, the mind uncovers. The heart feels, the mind projects. These two work in coordination to give us " Poems" This is the work produced by the coordination of my heart and mind, which God has blessed me and everyone else with. Please note that all rights are reserved. No one is permitted to copy or manipulate this work. I say that with due respect. You may seek permission if you really want to copy it. Copyrights. The heart has a lot to say Yet doesn't It feels and dies within Or the mind does it job And projects the feeling We have a lot say But don't or can't As we are shattered The two plan One discovers The other uncovers And fortitude lasts for all Within the words Shall u be the man The heart has a need To say thing out loudly Yet it knows otherwise About repercussion sadly But it's partner helps And that's how u get Poetry

| WATTYS 2018 WINNER: THE POETS | ❝Only when one can smile at her own reflection, be proud of her own thoughts and be happy with who she is, will she learn to fall in love with a candid picture.❞ Unveiled, unmasked, revealed. Displayed for the world to see, is her true personality. At first, she believed thoughts were just better left unsaid. She believed in bottling up her tears and locking away her secrets. Eventually, she let out her first whisper of silence. Taking baby steps, she slowly made her way into the world. She opened up her doors and took off her mask. Now, she's ready to show her true colours. She's ready to uncover those scars hidden beneath the painted smiles and the coloured lies. She's ready to be Candid. ~A poetry collection~

Highest Rank: #89 in Poetry ^_^ Sitting in my patch, looking back on my life I felt a tap on my shoulder.. Rotating my head a 180° I came face to face with another soul *literally* "Hey there! Didn't see you coming" He doesn't say anything..... Just wisps of smoke coming from his body I have met many like him before..... The Unheard they called themselves Souls that had passed on but still had a lot left within them to say Well what better way to scribble a poem..... Those lines have such depth, way deeper than the eyes of a soul that drifts aimlessly among mortals Looking over to the cemetery I see another soul drifting my way.... I prepare myself to listen to the one next to me... Meanwhile he picks up a stick and begins scribbling on the dirt floor of my patch... "Bid Me Goodbye...."
