A set of poetry based on the novel "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carrol and the video game "Alice: Madness Returns". These poems sometimes reflect my feelings/get angst-y, but I'll try not to do that.

In Elemental magic you can be one of four magic types; water, fire, earth, and air. The only problem is Violet is none of these things. Is she what they call a magic dud, or is she something rarer, more powerful, and more dangerous than anyone could have imagined!? Teasers, "Em, most girls sneak out for a boy, you sneak out for a unicorn." I began to cry as it reached for my face."No!" I screamed. "Please No!" I went to pull back the shower curtain, but some nagging thought in the back of my head stopped me. I didn't have a little brother, so why was there a little boy in my bathroom? I gulped and with shaking hands pulled back the shower curtain. "What!? How could that be!?" I yelled, and covered my hand with my mouth. Shouting wasn't such a good idea right at this moment. If someone heard us and came up here to investigate the noise we were making, they would find a boy and a girl, a bloody knife with both their finger prints on it, and a very very dead body. "Don't touch her!" he hissed and lunged at Henry. Running through the night wearing nothing but a flimsy hospital dress, while waving a dismembered hand in his hand, was a strangeness no regular person could hope to inspire to.

She and her brother Kel have escaped their fate by hiding near the frozen mountains. But when bounty hunters snatch Kel, Mirra injured and unable to track long distances will lose him unless she gives herself up to his captors. As as a Shadow Weaver who's survived childhood and whose golden-flecked irises have faded, concealing her talent, Mirra's own value is priceless on the black-market. Taken to a lawless town in the northern territories, Mirra convinces her captors to sell her to a mysterious young man destined for the same province as the officer who has bought her brother. The young man is the Kingdom's missing Prince, feared dead after his escort was attacked on an expedition. He has been in hiding, waiting for a Shadow Weaver whose skill he can use to discover who ordered his assassination. But before he will risk breaking his father's law and taking Mirra to the royal court, he must test her talent and her ability to hide it. If Mirra fails, her hopes of seeing her brother again will be cut by the noose around her neck. What would you do if there was a voice inside your head telling you to run away? Would you listen? Unfortunately, some of us do. Noel Patterson is a young girl who chooses to listen to the voice in her head. She believes God is the one telling her flee, but she keeps getting convicted about what she is doing is wrong. What if Satan was behind it all? But how could she tell? How would she ever learn if it's God or Satan telling her what to do? Noel is a missionary's daughter who's family is carrying out God's plan for them in Spain. One morning, she runs from her family. Her mother was cooking, her twin sister was in the bathroom, her father was studying for a sermon to preach. It seemed like the perfect moment! But now... she's alone. She has no money, no jacket for the cold nights. What is she going to do? Then she meets a certain boy who claims to be a run away himself. Who says he's survived for the past few years out on his own. But Noel isn't like him. She's not strong willed like him. She doesn't know the city as well as he does. Not only that, there are men out to get this boy. And it appears that Noel has just gotten in the middle of it all. I know many people don't believe in God or Satan, but please read this story. It will help you, I know it will. It is so sad what is going on in our county (America) today. Many people try to run away from their problems when really, it's the Devil trying to lead them away from God... and many people follow the wrong one.
