Phil is a poor boy forced to marry another man. He's not very healthy and he's very anxious to be the husband of a rich man. The constant cloud of suicide and anxiety follows Phil Lester everywhere he goes and he struggles to fit into his new life. Dan Howell was the typical spoiled, rich boy with butlers driving him to operas and maids making him nachos for breakfast. Phil Lester, however, was the opposite. Barely any money and deadbeat parents, he lives in a bad neighborhood in a gross apartment with cat hair covering the carpet and an odd roommate. And then Dan's parents decide he needs to love someone rather than himself, and when Phil shows up at his mansion steps, Dan's parents grow fond of him- so much that the two are exchanging rings and Phil is moving in with his new spouse. They tell Dan he should give it a few months, to be patient, and if he still doesn't like him then they'll sign the divorce papers and call it quits. Marriage isn't perfect, right? Well this one is the exact example. But they could always pretend.

Phil drowned when he was four, or at least he should've, or would've if it wasn't for that...thing. The creature he was told he created in his head. That thing that couldn't possibly exist because nothing could live in the middle of the forest in a lake he was told 'wasn't real'. Humans can't breathe underwater. Humans don't live in made up lakes in the middle of nowhere. Humans don't have spiked teeth or gills. And humans especially don't have tails.

E D I T I N G Dan has a new neighbor. His new neighbor Phil who happens to be an insomniac who loves playing the violin in the dead of the night, baking cookies and who also has a cat who spends half of her time in Dan's house. Dan finds Phil very annoying but he really can't resist those blue-green eyes...

A boy raised around religion and the discounts for sin, Phil Lester is definitely not one to go around looking for trouble. With his father being the vicar of their local church, Phil has a lot to live up to and has to keep his reputation high if he's to be accepted. He doesn't do parties or drinking; the thought of sex alone is enough to terrify him. So it's no wonder that when Dan Howell, a boy who embraces the life of parties and rebellious acts, shows up to join the church program, Phil starts having trouble keeping himself sane as he tries to teach Dan the path to God. But, religion isn't the thing on Dans mind and he seems to find himself a new toy to play with. Phil Lester is sweet and cute; known for his kindness and enthusiasm. Dan Howell is a tough, cold outsider; known as the school's stereotypical 'bad boy'. But if he's so bad, then why on earth did he rescue Phil Lester and give him a smile which would melt anyone's heart?

Phil was doing a project. He needed to take pictures of things he found beautiful. That's how he met so many different people, all mesmerisingly beautiful. :) ~this is just a short story I threw together in a few days so sorry if it's horrible~ Also this is based on a video on YouTube where a girl goes around telling people they're beautiful.
