Delaney Escott lives in a world where popularity reigns supreme. If you want to be noticed, social status is everything. The government is run by the Superiors: a very exclusive group of individuals who are virtually flawless. They are smarter than us and stronger than us, and to join their ranks is the highest honor. The Superiors pay an annual visit to the top schools in the nation and evaluate the students, choosing one boy and one girl - the most Popular in the school - to go the Capitol and train for Superiority. Delaney thinks that she's the only one indifferent to (and perhaps even suspicious of) the Superiors, until Caleb Payne, the most popular boy in school, approaches her with a request. He has a task for her, one that he believes she is uniquely capable of completing. And as she helps him, Delaney discovers that the government is hiding many secrets - and that the truth of the Superiors is far from what people believe it to be. (The Triumvirate Histories Book One) What do you get when you add thirty eighteen-year-old high school seniors and a two week trip to Paris? One sometimes boring, other times not trip of a lifetime. And when you add your roommates sneaking out and your guy best friend sneaking in to your room? A night of movies and junk food until finally passing out at three in the morning. Now, for a more exciting question, what do you get when you add together a drink thrown in your face, getting lost in the museum you're in as you come back from cleaning yourself up, and walking in on heist in progress? That's right. The kidnapping of Emmy Alexander, who just happened to be me. But when you hear about all of these kidnappings on the news, you expect the worst. Not mine, though. Mine included a secret society that the public, after learning about it a few years before, thought was now a modern myth, searching the globe and stealing back the pieces of a puzzle that we didn't know what information it would hold, and running from another secret society that was bound and determine to stop us no matter what. Oh, and you can't forget John Raymond, who just happened to be the one who kidnapped me. It was technically his fault I was in the middle of this, thrust into a world of secrets. I couldn't complain, though. And no matter what, John couldn't say we didn't make a great heisting team. But when that other secret society came into our crazy, messed-up equation, it added even more danger. But then again, I wanted a little adventure in my life, and I sure as heck got it.

(The Triumvirate Histories Book Three) What do you call the girl who gets on a jet with the supposed enemy rather than one that would have taken her normal, not so dangerous life in New York? A traitor to the people who call her family, betraying them to the people they'd called the enemy for centuries. Now, add a woman who had almost successfully killed you just a few months before, though had turned extremely nice and even protective, and her nephew who looks at you with an expression you want to just slap right off his face? The two people who supposedly had a plan that would pretty much make you disappear off the face of the earth. And what happens when that plan completely breaks the heart of the man you love, even if it works perfectly? You shatter your own in the process...which you think you deserve for doing it to him and everyone else who loves you. Anyone who hears my story might think I'm a traitor, but I'm not...no matter how much I feel like I am. I was going off with the Knights learn more about their side of the story. Being with them, I knew it was going to change me, too. They were the fighters, the protectors of the Brotherhood, even though they thought they were out to destroy them. And I was going to protect them now, too. According to the reports, the Order wasn't hiding out anymore. They were on the move, infiltrating giant corporations and governments of wealthy, powerful countries. We were going to try everything to stop them and their ambitions of molding and controlling the future in their favor. And how could I forget the inside, the one who was telling all the Brotherhood's secrets, even if the Knights had already known them? But before I could do that, I had to disappear, make sure that no one came to look for me...and that involved breaking the hearts of my family, friends...and, most importantly, John. His heart had been broken so many times in his life...but now I was going to shatter it.

(The Triumvirate Histories Book Two) What do you get when you add a girl whose life has been more than boring over the last few months and another who looks like a Southern Belle Barbie come to life? Two roommates who are bound to not have anything in common. And what about when you add her nerdy, yet extremely good-looking boyfriend into the mix? Getting to think about that guy you fell for who thought it'd be nice to tell you he loved you before disappearing. And what do you get when you add seeing the guy who'd shot you in your first college class, the next day almost being kidnapped by the secret society that he was a member of, and finding out that your roommate and her boyfriend are totally not who you expected? Yep. The second kidnapping of Emmy Alexander, though I was more than happy to go along with it this time. After months of waiting, I thought I wasn't going to be a part of the mission of the Brotherhood, the secret society that was hidden to the world, as they continued to try and piece together the puzzle of where their hidden history was located. But when the leader of the other secret society makes a promise to come after you, she definitely intended to keep it. So now, I was back in the protection of the Brotherhood, back with John Raymond, that guy who apparently forgot about those three words he said to me before disappearing. But was I complaining? Heck no. Because, along with being with him again, I was officially back to being a part of the mission and we were traveling the world yet again, only breaking into the government buildings of the wealthiest nations in the world this time. And, of course, the Knights, that other secret society, were going to try to do anything to stop us just like the last time. They wanted me...wanted my help in getting into the heart of the Brotherhood, which I still didn't want to happen. And I thought my life was going to be boring again. Yeah, whatever.

(The Triumvirate Histories Book Four) What does the world think when a girl who'd been dead for three months turns up at the site of a huge CIA raid, which ended up with an explosion and four deaths? That she might have been in a stickier situation before than they'd known. What did they think would happen when she had a major panic attack after she realized that everything about her was gone, locked away in her mind? Well, obviously what did happen...or else they wouldn't have been prepared to knock her out again with morphine. And just who would that girl be? Me, Emmy Alexander...at least, that's who they told me I was. You know the stories of people with amnesia after a traumatic accident. They don't remember weeks, months, or maybe even a few years of their lives. I'd call them lucky, because they at least had a foundation to build on. Me? I couldn't remember a thing when I'd woken up after they'd knocked me out after my panic attack. I couldn't remember me, my family, my best friend, how I'd gotten the burns and cuts that now marred my body... I couldn't remember whose green eyes haunted my dreams every single night. My therapist said that my memories might come back in my dreams, when my subconscious mind was free to be revealed. And so far, she'd been right. Parts of my life were slowly coming back to me - my father's laugh, my mother's smile, my brother Jason's and best friend Drake's annoying overprotectiveness. But there were others that I couldn't explain - a tale of secret societies, puzzle keys, bronze boxes, and break-ins to museums and government buildings around the world. It wasn't until I saw those eyes on a man, who seemed so familiar that it made my heart ache, from across a gallery in the Louvre. A man who introduced himself as John Raymond. And it didn't take me very long to realize that maybe, just maybe, he was the key to everything.
