But Tessa can deal. She has Grace, and that's all she needs to survive. When Grace starts dating Julia, a charming and pretty girl from her physics class, Tessa is overjoyed for her. She loves that Grace is happy, despite the pain life has inflicted. But then Julia breaks Grace's heart, and everything falls apart. Now, Grace is gone. She's locked away in St. Montgomery's, a mental hospital, and the doctors keep saying she's delusional; that her entire relationship with Julia was a lie. But Tessa knows better. And with each day that she sees Julia around campus, a boy on her arm as she laughs with her friends, she feels a surge of rage. This girl destroyed the last good thing she had in her life. She can't just sit back and watch her get away with it. Julia needs to pay. And she will. Those friends she loves? Gone. That boyfriend? Gone. That reputation? Gone. Tessa will take everything. And there will be nothing Julia can do to stop her.

Hunter and Kaylyn met by chance and have been infatuated with each other ever since... unofficially that is. Hunter has trust issues when it comes to women due to his mother walking out on his family when he was a young child. Kaylyn on the other hand grew up in the foster care system so she's never had a real sense of family or unconditional love. As these two continue to see each other their feelings start to get involved. Hunter begins to pulls away from Kaylyn out of the fear that they are getting too close. But when he sees her out with another man will he change his mind and finally make things official between them and take a chance on what could be true love. (This story will be told in Kaylyn and Hunter's points of view.)
