#thewattys2017 #wattys2017 The science is real, the story is not. Scientists and entertainers work together in the city of Anima. Genetic War, a popular, educational live program, where prehistoric animals brought back to life (e.g. Hyaenodon gigas, Andrewsarchus mongoliensis, Epicyon haydeni, etc) as well as completely new creations (some are made based on legends and cryptids, such as Werewolf, or the Chupacabra), fight to the death, is the main tourist magnet. Each month, four new teams, of ten animals all of the same species (two teams of predators, and two teams of prey), fight it out, and local children have been conditioned to see nothing wrong. The creator, Felix Carver, is remorseful, suffering from depression and hiding away in a house on a hill overlooking Anima. This is Genetic War. PLAYLIST: https://open.spotify.com/user/lionesseye/playlist/5tBhCOHU3JvPWYY0o3OvTn My inspirations: The Hunger Games (novel and movie series), certain elements of Divergent (novel and movie series), and Splice (a 2009 movie, look it up). Praise / best comments: A compelling dystopian world - each chapter is perfectly constructed with just the right amount of twists; proving not everything is what meets the eye. Hungergamessin shares with us a far from perfect world, with humor and action perfectly integrated into every chapter. - @immaximumride, creator of The Mind Games
