Everyone can make voodoo dolls and speak out curses but only a gifted few can actually and effectively let them work. Crissa Evergreen is one of them. She knows how to jinx, to hurt or to kill anyone in just a snap of her finger. To put it simply, Crissa is a witch. A Black Witch to be exact. And honestly, she doesn't want to be one. For a witch to become normal, he or she must go through the Reversal. How? He or she must collect Witch Shards that can be obtained after completing a request then fortify it into a gem and take it inside of him or her. The size of the shards depends on the weight of the request. She is so close to finishing the gem. So close. All she has to do is to complete one heavy request and bam, she'll turn ordinary. Opportunity knocks on her door when Nathan Miller, Resident Goth, approaches her for a request, a heavy one at that. But there's something wrong in the picture. Could it be her parents who are both White Witches and both against her Reversal? Or perhaps, could it be Nathan's request? Whatever it is, she still wants to be normal and that means she has to hurt the people she loves, even the ones who break her every now and then.
