For Team Snagem, life was simple. Wake up. Eat. Steal Pokémon from unsuspecting trainers and ship them off to another criminal syndicate named Cipher who turns them into Shadow Pokémon. Go to sleep and then wake up and do the whole thing all over again. Yes, everything was going smoothly, until some jackass blew up their lab and made off with the device that allowed them to steal Pokémon and uses it to dismantle the organization. To make matters worse, it was their top Snagger. And because of this event, the most powerful criminal syndicate in Orre now has their full attention focused on him. Wes soon finds himself in a battle against Pokémon with virtually no weaknesses, and with little means to stop them, he is hard-pressed to succeed, until something within Wes causes the tide of the battle to turn giving rise to a power that Cipher wasn't prepared for, and a romance that Wes didn't count on.

The moment Gold became Champion of Johto, he knew something was wrong. Unbeknownst to the world, a secret society existed behind the heroic veil of the regions' Pokémon Leagues. Lead by a mysterious, nameless figure, the Pokémon League worked in his interest rather than for the good of the people. Valuing money over anything else, they stole from the world and masked their every action as being for the greater good. As Gold began unraveling the twisted secrets hidden withing the Pokémon League, he grew desperate to reveal the corrupt reality to the world. He was bound, however, by a mysterious oath that prevented him from ever acting against them. As he fell deeper into the demented tangles of the Pokémon League, he learned just how badly some Champions want out--and how much some Champions love their life of corrupt luxury. The Pokémon League was too powerful for one person to overcome. Gold had to decide if risking his life and the lives of everyone he loved was worth trying to achieve justice. --- Cover and header by @ImberLapis !!

Monsters lurk in the corners of our minds. They prowl and snarl at any sense of happiness, ushering in a darkness with each step they take. These creatures take on many different forms to slowly tear us apart. Some tether us to our beds, refusing to let us walk under the beautiful sun. Some of them suffocate us in crowds, their claws tearing at our throats with a crowing laugh ringing in our ears. For Kate Hitomi, Hero of Almia, vanquisher of shadows, and bringer of light.. Her mind is nothing but darkness. Ever since she was young the monsters have manifested themselves as nightmares. However they are worse than they've ever been. Kate can't close her eyes without screams rising in her chest, her entire body trembling and laced in a cold sweat. It kills her friends to see her like this. But what can they do? Keith can only hold her as she cries. Rhythmi can only listen with their hands intertwined. The fight is no longer tangible, or as easy to capture a raging pokémon. For the war rages within Kate's mind. (Vatonageshipping, Shadows of Almia Fanfiction. Cover art was edited by me, but actual art was not drawn by me. Team Miasma is the new threat that looms over Unova many years after Team Plasma has been disbanded. Their reasoning for causing terror is unknown, but it's nothing the brave, Braviary Man, can't handle. Just don't talk to Sylvia about it. She's always found the idea of a superhero more troubling than ever. Instead of traveling around, Sylvia spends her days helping Nurse Joy heal Pokémon, but that will soon change the day she actually faces Team Miasma for the first time. Now, Sylvia must make a choice: stay with the life she knows or become an Unova superhero like Braviary Man to stop Team Miasma because they will stop at nothing until they've reached their goals. Disclaimer: I don't own Pokémon, just the idea and a few characters like Sylvia, Rudi, Rena, and the concept of Team Miasma. Rated PG 13 as some scenes may not settle well with younger viewers. Cover made the the wonderful @ImberLapis.

Heroes and villains... they're only separated by their convictions and what they believe is right. Both have their morals, and both have a goal that they believe is worth achieving. Two years... Two years I had been trapped like a caged bird just waiting to escape back into the world. It had been nothing but hell for me after the fall of Team Plasma. I had been longing for some form of sign that would tell me that everything would be fine, that I'd have that second chance I desired. That was when fate came knocking on my door in the form of my estranged mother. What she wanted... I didn't care. She had been gone for ten years of my life. She never even said good-bye. Who the hell does that? Whatever apologies she had, I didn't want them. And whatever she had to say, I didn't want to hear it. At least... I thought I didn't. It's funny how you think you knew everything only for everything you've ever been told to be proven a lie. Little did I know how deep those lies had gone. I had no idea what I'd be getting into the moment I got onto that plane with my mother. All I knew, was that I was given a second chance at something I'd been dying to do since I was little. I just... didn't expect it to be on an island in the middle of the sea. It's a completely different world over here, and I'm not sure exactly how I'll adapt. But I do know one thing. My life has started anew, and I can finally get that fresh start I'd been longing for. Even though I'm free, I can't help but get a bad feeling about all of this... {Cover by ImberLapis}

"Excuse me? What did you just say?" She fumed, knitting her brows in agitation. "You heard me," he replied in a deadpan manner. "You're a spoiled, self-centered, entitled brat," he finished, causing the woman before him to clench her fists in rage. "H-how dare you speak to me that way! Do you have any idea who you are talking to? I could make your life miserable, you know that right?" She fumed, using every ounce of willpower she had to avoid slapping him across the face. "I am fully aware of who I saved, princess," he responded, emphasizing her status. "I just don't care. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to my class before they leave me here. Good day, your highness," he added, turning around to leave. Seth Da Silva was a senior at the prestigious Kalos Academy high school. Being given a writing assignment for history class, Melody made sure to be on the trip. Princess Allie, daughter of a very wealthy family and princess of the Parfum Palce, had finally turned eighteen. With her new age came a new status; eligible. In other words, she was now of age to be married. However, like everything else in her little world, it had to be done her way. After proposing a competition for her hand to her parents, they seemed open to the idea and put out a notice to all of Kalos, inviting several wealthy families and trainers to her birthday celebration where the announcement would be made.
