The words got stuck in my throat choking me from the inside. I knew nothing could make me strong enough to let go of that painful incident. All the world seemed just as I felt, empty. All what I could sense was regret and fire. Fire that is eating my soul alive making my heart ache with every beat knowing that I was alive and my brother wasn't. "He was everything to me" I fought the tears in my eyes from falling. "And he still is" Haley Smith isn't a survivor as many people at her school think, she is a fighter. However, every fight can be won or lost. But how will you win when your opponent is yourself? Follow Haley in a journey along with her family members and high school friends, perhaps they might be a key for inner peace or a trigger for endless nightmares. Enjoy the ups and downs in Hayley's life for the mystery it has in every corner and the secrets revealed along the line. 🚨CAUTION: Definitely contains emotional rollercoaster!!!🚨 ➡️1ST PLACE WINNER IN TEEN FICTION OF THE ACE AWARDS 2020 ➡️2ND PLACE WINNER IN FICTION OF THE OLDIES AWARDS 2020, VOL.1 ➡️2ND PLACE WINNER IN LOVERS OF LITERATURE WRITING CONTEST 2020 #7 in Kindness☺️ (6/10/2019) #ICECREAMAWARDS2020 #WattOriginals2020 #ThePhoenixAwards2020

These are reflections expressed in letters, poetry and stories. Initially l wrote them as a form of solace, to release tension of loosing people, as a way of acknowledging things l cannot control, accepting that l am powerless over human behavior. And then l thought 🤔 damn this is well written, it should not end up being burnt or thrown away. The emotions are expressed in a vague, subtle way, but l think that's what literature is all about.
