| COMPLETED | Highest Ranks: #1 in Teen Fiction (06/11/17) & #1 General Fiction (07/22/17) | When Amaya receives an acceptance letter to her dream college, she is ecstatic. It has been her dream for as long as she can remember to follow in her father's footsteps of graduating top of her collegiate class. She has been working her whole high school career to be chosen for a scholarship to the university, so when she received it, Amaya thought it would all be smooth sailing from there. It truly was going well until her roommate jumped ship...well schools, and dumped all costs on her. To avoid getting a job that would distract her from her studies, Amaya decides on renting out the other bedroom in her apartment to split the costs and save some money. Poor Amaya didn't know when she made this decision, that a smooth-talking and annoyingly attractive, football player could be just as distracting, if not more, than employment. ***************************** Theodore Thompson, or as he liked to be called Theo, is a hot shot football player quickly climbing the charts and earning many of the NFL scout's watchful eyes. He could care less about morals, or even schoolwork. But for some odd reason Theo does care about good financial opportunities and saving money. So when a flyer goes up advertising an exceptional deal on a nice apartment, he goes for it. Unfortunately, at the time, Theo didn't know that getting a roommate came along with such an amazing arrangement. Cover made by: WinterFeels_

"So this was all just a game to you . . .this whole time, you pretended to like me in order to humiliate me in front of the entire school?" An air of melancholia surrounded me, eyes watery like never before. "Were your feelings for me ever real?" There wasn't even a trace of an apologetic expression on his features as he tucked his hands in his pockets, before he gave a nonchalant shrug. The sudden urge for revenge became a prominent priority. He regarded me passively. "It's not my fault that you fell for me in the first place." he justified as he advanced my way, closing the gap between us. Unstably, I strode backwards on the concrete. ". . .stay back." I whimpered. "You're nothing but cold hearted." ·•● Two years ago, Emery Roy was tragically exposed to what some could call an intense betrayal all thanks to the originator - Dean Darnell. Everything went downward spiral after they started dating. What appeared to be a match-made in heaven, turned from blissful to disastrous the moment Dean humiliated Emery in front of the entire school, leaving her completely heartbroken. So to avoid him at all cost, she did what any person would do: transfer school. Fast forward two years later. What happens when she's returning back to Roosevelt High, for the first time during senior year? She only has a few tasks: avoid Dean and face her obstacles. The only question is will she succeed or will she get fooled again? -1st Place Winner Of The Lavender Awards -2nd Place Winner Of The Starglow Awards -2nd Place Winner Of The Galaxy Awards - Writing is easier than talking. When talking you don't have long to think about the things you are going to say, you just rush them out of your mouth and then later regret most of what you said or others overhear the things you say. When writing there are hundreds of words you can think about using, you aren't rushed, and only the people you want to see, see the the things you write. In these poems i write what i believe and feel, almost all of these poems are about me, my experiences, my opinions and emotions. There will be some that i wrote when i was very young and please respect that those few poems won't have as good grammar and themes as the others. Thank you. "You played with my heart, i played with my life. I was never one to enjoy games." - Glow No More "Everyone has been hurt. Some people just hide the pain better than others" "The worst part about being strong is that no one ever asks if you are ok" "Sleep doesn't help if it's your soul that's tired" "What doesn't kill you leaves you wide awake at 3am wishing it had" "The monsters aren't under the bed, they're living in my head" "The worst feeling is feeling nothing at all" "My eyes are closed but i'm not asleep. My eyes are open but i'm not awake. I will speak but not talk. I will hear but not listen. I will smile and laugh but feel no happiness. It's like i've been swimming in an ocean of nothingness and soon my legs will go numb." "The worst kind of demons aren't the ones in the corner of a dark room, they're the ones who walk among us daily, the ones we think we know." |*| A WATTPAD STORY|*| <3 Highest rank - #78 16th September 2017 <3 Cover by me

"And you are?" He asked smiling with his sparkling white teeth. "Emily Johnson, the preppy city girl you just spoke of." I said crossing my arms over my chest. "Ah it's nice to finally meet you. I'm Toby Marks." He said tipping his stupid straw hat. "The feelings not mutual. I'll see you around Toby." I said turning around and leaving him there smiling like an idiot. ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ Emily Johnson was a city girl. She loved the environment, and she loved the people. However the rest of her family had other opinions. Before her sophomore year, Emily's parents practically forced her to move to the South in a small town called McEwen, Tennessee. Of course Emily was furious with her parents about their decision, but they acted as if they didn't care. What Emily didn't know was that her entire life was going to be turned around for the better because of this move, and it would take everything in her power to be able to hold onto the life she left behind.
