"It was Hell's kitchen. On the dirty checker floors, was blood. Red mush stained over almost the entire floor. And I see Mommy's body lying there motionless, surrounded by gross, rotten inhumane-like things. They were tearing her apart, eating her flesh, guts and any other remaining traces of meat left with their long, clawed fingers. It was them. They were exactly the ones I remember seeing on T.V. with mommy and daddy; they were the things called 'zombies'." 12 year old Rima Orlume loses her parents during a zombie virus attack. Luckily, she was saved by her father's dear friend...or was she? ______________________________________________________ Copyrighted © 2011 10deadmask01. All rights reserved. You'd think from the names that Chad and Brad are most likely brothers. You would've been right if brothers constantly try to choke each other, prank each other and can't stand each other for more than a second. Chad and Brad - as much as they hate their names being way too similar - are arch enemies. With pranks, insults, comeback and death glares, they try their best to mentally annihilate each other. But, when they have one common goal, they have to work together to acheive it. In which there is a debate between an optimist and a pessimist. If you don't know what either means, don't be embarrassed. An optimist always thinks that the world is full of hope. The pessimist will just shake his head and say, "Nope". So do you think it's right to believe everything is great every day? Or see that everything is more worse than the next in every single way? Georgie Talbot is a nerd. She gets bullied daily, but does nothing to stop it. One day, a creepy man who is neither a murderer, rapist or stalker (she checked) approaches her. He needs her help. His son, Breton Joel, needs to be saved within 45 days. Georgie says yes, and with that her impossible mission begins. Breton Joel is a bad boy. He's never met Georgie, never heard of her. If he has seen her, it would have been that one time he knocked her down in the hallway, but he wasn't paying attention to her then. He needs help, needs Georgie's help, but he doesn't know it yet. When the two meet, it becomes one of Georgie's nightmares. Saving the bad boy? From what? He's not the one being bullied! He doesn't need saving from anything. He can do this himself! Unfortunately, Georgie's first impression is wrong. Breton needs her help. Badly. But Georgie needs his help too. Can these two work together? What happens when the 45 days are up? ~~ Thanks to DayDreamer48 for the cover art!! ~AwesomeMC ~~ Humor: #19 Romance: #22 Disclaimer: I do not own any of the TV shows, movies, books, actors, etc. mentioned in this book. If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction
