Kara Henry was just a normal 15 year old girl during summer vacation. On her 16th birthday, Kara is anything but happy when she learns that her own mother had kept a society called the Jewels of Fate along with her father's death a secret from her, ever since she was born! But when her mother is taken by an alien queen, Kara must join the Jewels of Fate to save her mother and the rest of the world. Kara must go on a quest to find all three jewels in order to keep the world from splitting into two halves.

After her mother's death, Kara is still grieving. But with two more jewels to obtain and a lethal enemy with the same goal, Kara's grieving could become a danger on missions not only to the team, but to herself as well. When Kara is not grieving she is trying to figure out Fay's secret that her mother almost revealed. But what if that secret is better kept hidden?
