Dave feels like bro doesn't like him much any more so he gets depressed and starts eating less. He gets even worse after seeing his friends and thinking they don't care much about him either.

Okay, so Dave Strider is a normal person, right? Just the normal cool kid at his school, pretty popular among the student body. Just your average calm and collected cool kid....right? Well, it was what he thought, after all. Just a few months before his big bro came home drunk, and acting like a complete asshole. What had gotten into him? He didn't let it get under his skin much until it began to get out of hand. That was when Dave started doubting being a normal kid...
