At least, so she thought. She doesn't have long to live, so she decides to do almost everything she's ever wanted to. Somehow, she falls in love with the perfect man, even though they both know she doesn't have long. Sadly, this doesn't last long, does it? Especially when you have a tumor and it's growing quickly and the only way to remove it is by surgery, and if the surgery doesn't work, then you will for sure die. On top of this, tragedy strikes and nearly kills her anyways. How will she survive at all, even if she doesn't have the chance? Brooke has almost always been in love with her boy best friend, Nathaniel, and when he died in a freak accident, she took it the hardest. To ease the pain, she writes letters to him and hopes that he knows how much she misses him. After school, before bed, on his birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, anytime there's something going on in life that she thinks he needs to know about.

The World has fallen pray to the devils work. People would turn into wild beasts of the underworld and plague the mortal world. The king of the country, Sylvia, gave up his life to create a Crown with the power to keep the devils creatures at bay. The kings corpse was buried with the Crown, and as long as it stayed on the late King's head, the world would be safe. Unfortunately, the Crown went missing while the kings casket was being moved to a more secure location. Now, the military of Sylvia and all of humanity are trying to relocate the Crown before the devils right hand, Lust, finds it first.
