A way to free them from great heartbreak. Without knowing it, he created one for himself. Years later Tartarus places him on a mission to aid the Gods in their war; he went on to complete his task which unknown to him. He would stumble across his mate. A human girl with the powers of a dragon queen.

Percy Jackson was a hero. But even heroes can't escape cruel fate. A curse was placed upon him, a curse that no one should ever bear. Percy saved the world time in time again, rising to the challenge whenever someone dares threaten the existence of the Earth. He asked for nothing in return, but he was still rewarded.
