But the government wants to ensure the survival of the best and brightest. So, men with O neg. Blood get paired with brilliant model like women, not broken scarred women. So, when a girl sneaks into the facility to rescue her brother who was taken when she was a child (she's just found which facility he was held at) and meets this group of men who seem tired with life and ready to get away, she has no choice but to get them out too. Especially if they can get her brother out too. They help her, and she helps them. But now there are 10 'perfect" male breeding specimens running loose. With the help of some old friends, Sang tries to keep them safe. Can Sang really let them go on their own? She's bruised and scarred and far from perfect. She has no chance with them, so she thinks. Numb3r 10 is a crossover between C. L. Stone's Ghost Bird series and the TV show Numb3rs. Dr. Sang Sorenson is a math genius-she's made a name for herself as one of the top mathematicians in the country. The Blackbourne team has moved on from the Academy and transferred their skills to working at the FBI. They're about to learn that sometimes, math is exactly what they need to solve a difficult case. Little did they know that Sang wished that as well. Then, one night, something completely unexpected happens. A week after moving into Sunnyvale Court, shots fire in the Sorenson household. Dianne Sorenson was dead. The wife of John Sorenson and mother of Marie Sorenson was shot in the chest and died in her house. When the police arrives and an investigation opens, Sang's father has to do everything in his power to make sure no one finds Sang or figures out what happened the night of his wife's murder. But when the Academy catches wind of one of their suspects being involved with a homicide, they send, not just one, but two teams in to solve the crime. Will the Toma and Blackbourne teams be able to join forces and find the murderer? What happens when they find out John Sorenson has another daughter, a daughter who is a ghost bird? Did Sang kill her stepmother?

When the lights went out, Sang and her small family hid in her small farm until one night when 14 strangers invaded her home. Can Sang and her family trust these men? Will Sang and these men band together to survive in an uncertain world? I don't own the Ghost Bird or Scarab Beetle characters, they are the property of Cl Stone.
