Ichigo and Rukia want to announce something over a nice dinner with the rest of the Kurosaki family. They didn't expect the rest of the family though to bring home guests. Karin brings home Toshiro along with someone whose supposed to be dead. Isshin brings home a young man with stripes on his cheeks, and a young woman with odd eyes from the hospital. Yuzu brings home a young man in a straw hat as well as an additional cook. Things of course don't go as planned.

Karin is glad that her brother Ichigo is back. A year has been passed after the war between Aizen and the Soul Society. Karin notices that Ichigo has been acting weird around Rukia, but wait Karin is also acting weird when Toshiro Hitsugaya visits with his vice captain, Rangiku Matsumoto.

Karin made chocolates for Valentine's day and has Rukia deliver the gift declaring it is chocolate made from friendship. Knows no one, wants to befriend no one until he meets someone just like him, alone. They build a relationship and no one can ever try breaking it down. He moves to Karakura Town with his older sister Momo, who got a job there at Karin's dad Icchin's clinic.
