Obscūrum n (genitive obscūrī); dark, darkness.
------
In the beginning of time, where the almighty Roman Gods ruled and the supernatural thrived - two worlds collided. The barrier between magic and reality was broken, and darkness seeped through the cracks.
Rex Lupus Deorum. A dark, broody King whom has learnt to keep his enemies close and his secrets closer. But hiding skeletons in the closet can prove quite the challenge whilst attempting to contain an ill-tempered, uncontrollable beast within.
Elizabeth Ferox. With a dangerous mind and words like fire, she could take on the world. But being stubborn and hard-headed, she just might have to. With her fascination in the shadows, it appears her curiousity may be her undoing.
Will the King finally be brought to his knees, or does fate have something else planned for them?
After all, Rome was not built in a day, but it certainly fell in one.

STORY EXERPT:
"Tell me that you feel nothing, look me in the eyes and tell me."
A large hand gripped the back of my neck, as he leant down to inhale at the base of my throat. A rough hand found my chin, lifting it as pools of ice held me captive, "Answer me."
A moment of silence, his intoxicating scent suffocating me, "I feel nothing, my King."
"I will make a liar out of you, Elizabeth."
