It's 1516 and the Italian Renaissance is booming. Our story starts with two very young different people. Francesca Visconti is a beautiful girl who's able to charm those with her quick wit and unseen intelligence hidden between the layers of thick unruly red hair. Giovanni D'Medici is one hell of a rake who beds any common whore and even his maids. He doesn't believe in love or such and thinks his future bride to be is an ugly hag just as rumours say. In the easiest terms to explain, he's a plain bastard. But everything changes when the two are brought together through the classic means of an arranged marriage. Though with a rake like Giovanni, will Francesca ever feel happiness? Even when he's touching another woman a few rooms next door?

Princess Nerina of Caspian is a troubled girl dreaming of adventures on the great blue sea. She is always trying her hardest to disobey her mother, who wants her as far away from the ocean as possible for reasons that are unknown to everyone except the King and Queen of Caspian. Nerina's parents cause to possibly protect her isn't helped at all, especially when she meets the gorgeous and dashing yet stubborn Captain Edward Smith III, the son of the dead Caspian King of Pirates. Though their meeting was a complete misunderstanding, the two are forced to sail together as they learn of the great darkness that lurks deep in the ocean... which may have more to do with Nerina and Edward then they think. And soon enough, the two find themselves pulled into a passionate and senseless love that no one is happy with. [Preview Only! Full story on Dreame]
