Prologue "I just don't think I can go behind Syds back like this" I stuttered nervously "You have to make a decision" he said crossing his arms standing tall with no emotion on his face "it's me or him,which one of us do you choose?!" He finished "I...I don't know" I stuttered letting my head drop "Alright then" he said quietly as his head dropped to the ground he walked out the door slamming it behind him. Hundreds of thoughts were running through my head 'Syd or Roger, Roger or Syd' I ran out the door hoping to find roger. I seen his slim silhouette leaning against a wall his slim fingers holding a cigarette to his soft,plump lips I ran up to him and knocked the cigarette out of his mouth and kissed him with as much passion as I could he wrapped his long,slender arms around my waist in return I wrapped my arms around his neck,much to his dismay I pulled away and whispered to him "I choose you George Roger Waters I love you so much and I never want to lose you" I whispered burying my face into his chest he groaned playfully "you know I hate being called by my full name but I love you saying it I love you so,so much Maria Rose Jensen and I also don't want to lose you EVER!" He said tilting my head up to look at him he smiled and leant down and kissed me softly.

This fanfiction takes place in the early 1970s, just as Pink Floyd rises to international fame. But behind the band, is the life that Emma and David have together. This story is written in Emma's perspective as you get to see how everything unfolds between the two of them. Heartfelt and also heartbreaking, this is the journey of Emma Hale and David Gilmour. It took me nearly 4 months to write this fanfiction, and it comes to 40 chapters in total! The tour dates and events are as accurate as possible- but it is just a fanfic so most of what I write about never really happened.
