Wuthering Heights is a wild, passionate story of the intense and almost demonic love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, a foundling adopted by Catherine's father. After Mr Earnshaw's death, Heathcliff is bullied and humiliated by Catherine's brother Hindley and wrongly believing that his love for Catherine is not reciprocated, leaves Wuthering Heights, only to return years later as a wealthy and polished man. He proceeds to exact a terrible revenge for his former miseries. The action of the story is chaotic and unremittingly violent, but the accomplished handling of a complex structure, the evocative descriptions of the lonely moorland setting and the poetic grandeur of vision combine to make this unique novel a masterpiece of English literature.

15 year old Keyanna McKnight is not just your average girl from the ghetto. She does have her "ratchet" tendencies, but she wants more for herself. With a mother strung out on crack and a father whos nowhere to be found, it wont be easy. He has to do whatever he can to make a way for himself. For August, pushing rocks was his way to make it in downtown NOLA. Although he always dreamed of becoming a world renown singer, he had accepted the fact that he would probably be in the game for a while. Keyanna and August will both discover that sometimes you have to do things you dont want to do in order to make it. When the two cross paths, will they willingly join forces to get out of the ghetto or wil they be forced to work together to save their lives?
