Jamie-Lee Williams did just what her parents wanted: she engaged a Harvard grad, had a baby, and moved into a house in a safe neighborhood. She didn't get that good of a job, but her rich fiancée Edwin made up for it. But what happens when that stability all comes crashing down? Jamie won't be able to manage, of course, but money is not the problem. The real issue is finding out why her life was destroyed. "Are you sure this nigga is about you? You never know, he could be just tryna fuck. I mean, why would he blow off almost four years with his girlfriend for you?" Jayda asked and I shrugged. "The same thing I asked myself." I said watching the Wizards's practice and the coach blew the whistle as Kelly glanced over to me and winked, causing me to blush. "You're forgetting the biggest problem... Cari, you have a boyfriend." Jordyn said referring to my boyfriend of a year and a half, Rashad. Whose uncle is the coach of the Wizards and that's how we even got in to watch the practice. "I don't wanna just let go of Rashad, but at the same time I wanna see how far me and Kelly can go. It's like the things you shouldn't have are good for you." I said and Jayda shook her head. "Both of you are sneaky. Haven't you heard of history over mystery?" Jordyn asked and I bit my lip as Kelly smirked at me before he made a three pointer. "Yeah, but maybe this time it should be the other way around." Completed : December 25, 2015
