Based on a blog post from Lashuntrice Bradley, being a sideline is like your favorite food. It's good while we're eating it, although, once it's gone you have a hollow feeling or will eventually crave more of it. But being a girl on the side is the exact same. Being with Antoine is good at the moment, but Sincere has to learn how to deal with the fact that the truth will eventually come out. However, she keeps doing it because of the momentary pleasure and attention she'll get from him. Will she be able to keep her secret hidden or will things begin to reveal themselves as time goes on?

" You're eyes are so tired Aug.." I say while looking up at his face, his beautiful exhausted face. He's going through so much in such little time. Sometimes i feel like i'm losing him.. Most times i think it's consumed him. But my baby's a fighter, he always has been. "They always give me away, huh?" his husky voice whispered as he slightly chuckled. I smiled at the sound, he's always trying to bring the light to the dark, and that's what i love the most about him.. he's the light in everything. "C'mon baybeh, don't do that.. I'm okay pooh." he slightly lifted my head so that i could look into his eyes again, i didn't notice the tears that started to well up in mine, but they were there. He didn't deserve this. He has so much to live for. "I just ... I love you August. You d-don't Deser-" "Whatever God has in store for me is what i deserve. I love you too, Kaiana. But i'm not going to let you stress over me. I'm fine, I'm here, I'm still breathing. And Despite what my eyes are telling you, i feel alive and well enough to stand. Hell, i'll hit a back flip right now if that'll stop you from crying. Be happy Kai, just be cool."

All my life I've heard nothing but bad about trappin'. Trappin' sent my daddy and granddaddy to jail. Trappin' killed my great great grandmother and my uncles. But my grandmomma always told me that without trappin' we wouldn't be where we are today; famous and successful. I guess one good thing did come out of the game. My family always told me about their experiences being in the game. Some of the stuff they've lived through I couldn't imagine surviving. I didn't want any part of that life. I would be the one to break family tradition. That was my mindset until I met Shakeim. He wasn't deep in the game but he was deep enough to get respect from many people around the city. He would sell drugs on the street corners and he had a reputation with many girls in L.A. He hung out with the drug dealers at school who were all apart of their neighborhood gang. He was one of the most feared people in Los Angeles because of who he associated with. He thought of me as a spoiled rich girl who he could potentially get a piece of ass from. I thought of him as a basic nigga who do about anything to make money. But despite all that we caught feelings for each other and that's when I started rethinking my idea about breaking family tradition.
