Countless psychiatrists and doctors have attempted to break into Gerard's obsessive and disassociated world, tried to rationalise his behaviour and straighten out his distorted image of the universe. But all Gerard wants in life was to be high enough to touch the stars- and to understand why in the world his English teacher has the ability to make him feel like he's already up in the sky.

"He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man." When notorious pirate (and total asshole) Gerard Way snatches young, innocent Frank Iero from his tidy, planned-out life and deposits him on the infamous pirate ship, The Black Freighter, he is immersed in a world of deception, violence and sin. The thing is, though, he knows from the start that it won't be the fighting that destroys him-- it will be the loathing he and Gerard feel for each other that will tear him apart in the end.

Michael James Way is a psychopath...but he's different than all the rest. Of course, there's the normal traits that go with his madness. Homicidal, Intimidatingly intelligent, Specific, thought out and carefully planned methods to his vicious killing... To name a few. But Mikey was different in a bloodthirsty way. Literally. He was, without a doubt, a vampire. Until one day, he stopped killing. He stopped because of one special kid that managed to steal his cold, unforgiving heart. His name was Frank Iero.

Mikey Way had never thought of being in a relationship with a boy - he'd never really thought about being in a relationship. Not until he met Frank Iero. With his lovable character, perfect face and excellent guitar skills, Mikey can't help but become attracted to him. But as the two boys become more close, they realize that it will be almost impossible to continue the band without revealing their relationship. Mikey and Frank try to keep low-profile, but then something happens which tears their relationship apart, for what seems like, forever. Will the boys ever be able to find happiness? [This story is a Frikey, yes. If you have anything against Frikeys or Frerards, just don't read it, it's simple! This is my first attempt at a Frikey, so I apologize if it isn't too good.
