Never in Alex Thompson’s mind would she find herself to believe in Genies as she believes they only exist in stories and cartoons. But after one day, laughingly rubbing a lamp she recently bought, she is left feeling nothing but shock as an actual Genie appears in front of her. Strangely enough, this Genie is no ordinary one. He’s dangerous, cocky and plain arrogant with an alluring smirk. He doesn’t grant your wishes on your command; he doesn’t obey to all of your words; he does things that please only him, practically, this Genie is bad news – definitely not something Alex wants to be the master of. Will Alex be able to find some way to tame this rebellious Genie before it stirs up trouble in her life?

I froze; the guard yelled, telling me to get a move on. The unearthly screeching sent all of us into shock, soon turning into fear. Some cried the moment they reached the door. I didn't know what was coming, but it'd be painful. “Next!” I was two kids away from the cold metal plated door. I closed my eyes, hearing a scream from behind the door. The girl in front of me started to cry. “Shut up!” A guard yelled, slapping her cheek. My eyes widened and I forced myself to swallow tears that threatened to fall. “Next!” My sore bare feet scraped across the dark tiled floor as I made my way forward while the next child went in. I wouldn't survive a slap to the cheek, no matter how strong I looked. “Next!” The girl in front of me quivered and shook, her fear obvious. I cringed away from the door as a laugh echoed in the next room. “Stand up straight!” The guard yelled at me. I didn't dare look him in the eyes, knowing I'd be hit like the last child that stared at him. “Next!” My skin crawled as the door opened...

It's her birthday. Alexis goes out for a little shopping spree and gets tangled with some masked men who came to rob the store. All because of her stupid mouth. It might probably change her life. And now she is taken away from everything she was familiar with...and also has to cope with four hot guys. Two who might be interested in her, and the other two just happened to be twins. Add a couple of ridiculous friends searching for the missing girl, step sisters, old girlfriends and new loves...well let's just say Alexis is going to have an interesting 18.
