Dean has left Cas in desperation. The war had scarred him and it had scarred him bad. With Cas now out of his life, he's even more lost than he was before. Will Cas give in to the pain of the loss of his lover or will he pull through and find Dean along with a way to create that Polaroid picture perfect life they've both so desperately wanted to share together? (I just want to clarify that I did not write the original "Twist and Shout". I recently finished reading it and it had bruised and beat my heart to a pulp. I decided to write an alternative ending that wouldn't leave me soaked in my own tears. My writing may not be as fantastic as the original but I'll attempt it. Castiel is mentally ill but dont ask him about it he already knows. Dean Winchester is a good for nothing dropout, but dont tell him his father does it already. Sams tall now okay? Its puberty guys get over it. What Castiel doesnt know is that hes destined to be happy with a boy he never thought he could be. What Dean never imagined was laying on top of a carousel and listening to Bowie and never wanting to leave ever again. What Sam didnt know was that he would fall in love with the devil before 18. Not everyone sits well on that. Though most importantly Castiel does not know Dean Winchester. And Dean Winchester does not know him. But its like hes seen him a million times before and memorized those eyes in a thousand different ways. Theyre both reaching for the other but barely grazing eachothers fingertips.
