Enoch O'Connor has always been a jerk. Ever since he got to Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children he's never really made friends with anyone. Amberle Foster has been in attendance at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters since her mutation made itself known. While she has always remained in the background of the growing academy, the recent defeat of Apocalypse has brought certain students to the fore front of attention. One of whom is a boy with lasers for eyes, Scott Summers. While Amberle must wear gloves to keep her abilities from non-consensually working on others, Scott faces a similar dilemma- he must wear specially crafted glasses to keep from blowing things up. The two would be considered complete opposites. Though their shared struggles may lead the two to realizing that they have more in common that initially thought. ⋆.' ✶☾✦☽✶ '.⋆ ⋆.' ✶☾✦☽✶ '.⋆ ⋆.' ✶☾✦☽✶ '.⋆ Completed. Sequel is up <3

"I almost killed a guy and destroyed the ceiling in my school bathroom once." "I punched a boy in the face when I was eight because he was talking to me." Florence Westling was a short-fused, temperamental green thumb. Scott Summers was a hot-headed, cocky walking laser gun. Two negatives make a positive though, right?

Enoch has always been like this. Grumpy, sarcastic and reluctant to talk to the other peculiars in Miss Peregrine's loop. But when a new girl with a rather strange peculiarity shows up, will he manage to keep up this stony façade?
