After that, the Flock continued to look for a place to stay and they decided to settle in a huge and sturdy tree in a forest.But Max was surprised when she woke up and saw a girl pointing an arrow at her, but Max stopped her from shooting before she got hit. The girl apologized saying she thought Max was a bird because of her wings. She introduces herself as Katniss Everdeen and informs Max that she is in Panem, America. They made a deal not to tell anyone that Katniss saw bird kids in this forest and they parted as friends.
