What happens when a girl name Autumn Avery Willow has no friends. Is abused by her father, because she looks like her mom who died in a car accident when she was 14. Then her father kicks her out the house. She just so happens to run into a band she has never heard about before. One Direction. Right, when she thinks it can't get any worse it does... Or will one of the band mates fix her? Will she pull herself together? Will someone be there to pick her back up when she falls? Read to find out... A/N: Warning, this book was written I think in 2012- 2014 so it's extremely carroty. It's so carroty, I cringe. The book is not offensive in any way but may be triggerin gfor some people. Sorry. Be Alert)

I was the 6th-grade "slut." And I kept a diary. So I decided to create The UnSlut Project in the hopes that my own diary entries could provide some perspective to girls who currently feel trapped and ashamed. I am publishing these entries one at a time, without changing a single word except for the names of the people involved. My limited commentary, which is confined to brackets in each entry, is meant to provide the relief of my current perspective, fifteen years later. The UnSlut Project: Working to undo the dangerous slut shaming in our schools, communities, media, and culture by sharing knowledge and experiences.
