Agent Peggy Carter has just begun to move on from Steve Rogers, the love of her life, who she thought had died after he intentionally steered a plane into the ocean to save millions of others. She continued to work for the SSR after the war, where she meets Daniel Sousa. Just when Carters' life seems to be back on track, Steve Rogers returns and leaves her disoriented. Peggy then must make a choice that will change everything-including her worth.

What would happen if Captain Steve Rogers was rescued from the ice 64 years early? In 1947, Agent Peggy Carter has built a new life for herself in New York City- without Steve. She lives a normal life with her fiancé, Scott. The only difference between her and every other girl in New York, is that instead of being a secretary for a massive law firm like she told people; she was, in fact, an agent for the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division or S.H.I.E.L.D. (previously known as the S.S.R.). The only things that covered her story was that the S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters was hidden in the law building she supposedly worked in and her ability to lie so easily. When Captain Rogers steps back into her life suddenly, will she drop everything and run into his loving arms or will she fight her feelings and be loyal to Scott? And will the fates be kind and leave her and the one she chooses alone to live a happy life, or will the world come tumbling down around them? This is a Steggy (Steve x Peggy) fanfiction.
