Although in this fan written work, there is a different kind of magic going on. Something between Jack Wilder and Kate Sherman makes them inseparable, until everything takes a wrong turn.

Carly Contrary is a street magician who lives in New York with her best friend. One night she gets a she gets a calling card. Throughout the year she plans with four other Magicians a show like no other. On the run from the FBI, Carly and the Horsemen form a bond like no other. She and one of the other Horsemen start developing feelings that Carly doesn't necessarily know what to do with.
