It's 2022, the existence of mutants is at risk, with machines called Sentinels wiping the mutants off the planet. Changing the past is the only option left to save the human race along with the mutants. Logan is sent back to 1973, with the purpose of changing the horrible future that waits for them if Raven kills an obsessed and lost man that plans to create robots to end with mutants. Eleanor has her own problems while Charles grieves from losing her. They are all changed but, the future is never truly set.
