He didn't know why, they were just woods with maybe a measily animal crossing your path if you came at the right time. He has grown up playing in this specific forest and he loved it to pieces. "Don't go too far into those woods." He was also warned. He headed this warning because he feared he'd get lost. But nothing was scary about these woods... Or so Ricky thinks. But when Ricky is informed that his grandmother has gone missing on his eighteenth birthday and the police would do nothing about it, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Only then does he realize the real dangers of this particular forest and what he is truly capable of. Only then does he cross paths with someone he could only describe as a beast.

Ryan is planning a trip with a couple of his friends to Thailand. He happens to run into Vinny while searching for his friends at the airport. The two talk for a but before bidding each other a farewell. Without knowledge they end up on the same airplane. That airplane also happens to be in a fatal accident. The two are some of the few survivors left stranded on a mysterious island. Will they both be able to survive or will they crumble under the dark magic of the island?
