When Rachel Sloan decided to be a firefighter it was definitely a shock to a lot of Rachel's family. Growing up in a family full of doctors most expected her to do the same. Her father was known for being a world class plastic surgeon. After all, he was the Mark Sloan. Her mother Ariana was a neurosurgeon who was damn good at her job. Rachel grew up with her cousin Noah Shepherd since her dad was best friends with his parents. Derek Shepherd and Addison Montgomery were married for over ten years but Addison had an affair with Mark. After that Derek took Noah and moved to Seattle. About a year later Mark went and brought Rachel with him. The trip became a permanent thing and Rachel enjoyed Seattle. That was until it quickly became chaos. After dealing with so much death and nearly dying multiple times she couldn't take it anymore. Of course the genes of being a doctor stayed in her and she went to med school at 17. She completed her intern year but halfway through residency realized she wasn't doing what she wanted. So she became a paramedic first then a firefighter. She joined the 118 when she was twenty five and had been there since. Moving to L.A was a change but it was one she was happy with. Everything was going smoothly until a certain blonde walked into the firehouse named Evan Buckley.

She wasn't looking for a hero. He wasn't supposed to fall again. When paramedic Maeve Bishop transfers to Station 118, she promises herself she'll keep things simple: do her job, keep her head down, and never, ever get close to anyone in uniform again. But Evan Buckley is impossible to ignore, reckless in all the ways that make her nervous, kind in all the ways she's forgotten people can be. What starts as friendly banter on calls turns into shared glances across the truck, quiet talks after shift, and an unspoken understanding that neither of them dares to name. Buck sees through her walls. Maeve steadies his chaos. Together, they find something that feels like breathing again. But when a messy relationship brings up feelings that drove her from Seattle, every part of her she's tried to keep buried resurfaces. In a world where every day might be your last, Maeve has to decide whether love is worth the risk of breaking open, or if some fires are better left to burn out on their own.

Natalia Matthews learned early that pain is something you survive in silence. Raised by addicts, protected by a brother who became her entire world, Natalia grows up believing strength means endurance-and love means sacrifice. When a fire takes the one person who ever truly kept her safe, the blame doesn't stop with the ashes. It follows her into adulthood, into the military, into relationships where hurt feels familiar and deserved. Now a firefighter and a mother, Natalia lives her life running toward danger while hiding from her own wounds. She loves fiercely, protects relentlessly, and carries guilt like a second skin. Her daughter Olivia is her anchor, her reason, and her greatest fear-because Natalia is terrified of becoming the very thing she escaped. When cracks begin to form in the life she's built, Natalia is forced to confront a truth she's spent years avoiding: surviving isn't the same as healing. And silence doesn't make pain disappear-it just teaches it where to hide. Don't Let It Hurt You is a raw, powerful story about breaking cycles, chosen family, loving relationship, and the quiet strength it takes to finally say, this ends with me.

WHERE... There are always two sides to every emergency-the person calling for help and the responder answering it. For Alexandra Hotchner, she had lived her whole life on the second side. Adopted by Aaron Hotchner after surviving a brutal tragedy, Alexandra has grown into a sharp-edged FBI profiler with a heart she keeps buried beneath sarcasm and brick walls. Working for the BAU, she's made a career out of chasing monsters. But even the fixer breaks sometimes. When Athena Grant calls in a desperate favor, Alex finds herself in Los Angeles, pulled into a case that hits too close to home. Maddie Buckley is missing. Her ex is dangerous. And time is running out. Alex was soon to learn that taking that case would have most likely been one of the best things to ever happen to her. Her life would be turned upside down more than once but in that time she might have just found the love of her life. Between haunted nightmares, tense reunions, and clashing with first responders who don't know what to make of her. The young profiler must navigate her personal demons while battling real ones and determining if what she has is what she truly wants.

At Station 118, Aurora Russo and Evan Buckley have been inseparable for years - partners in chaos, confidants in quiet moments, and the kind of best friends who speak fluent sarcasm and shared glances. From the outside, it's all jokes and banter. But inside, something deeper has been growing. Aurora, who once only has her father Francesco Russo to call family, never imagined she'd find a second home in a firehouse. But with Bobby, Hen, Chimney, Eddie - and Buck - she finally understands what it means to belong. To be seen. To be understood. And Love? That's not a word she trusts. Not after watching her mother walk out at sixteen. Not after years of building walls to protect herself and her dad. But Buck? He's relentless in the softest way. He shows up. He listens. He stays. And no matter how hard Aurora tries to convince herself it's nothing, her heart keeps proving her wrong. He's not just trying to win her over. He's trying to show her that maybe - just maybe - love isn't a fairytale. It's real. And it's standing right in front of her.
