Triggers: any triggers that I could put here would spoil the ending, but if you're a sensitive person, then this may be hard for you to read.

After Dan Howell dies at the tragically young age of 26, he is greeted by death with a book. A book of every lie that anyone had ever told him. This seems like harmless fun but as he nears the end, he realized everything isn't as it seemed in life with his best friend, Phil Lester. Phil is not the most important boy at school, and Dan is just trying to fit in. What happens when their lives suddenly collide, and start something that none of them ever thought would happen. Warnings: violence, abuse, swearing, (smut).

Everything was like a puzzle that had yet to be put together. It was like all the pieces were there, but you didn't know where to connect them and how they fit in. Dan was the puzzle, and I wanted to know how to solve it.

Magic, illusion, love and destruction... Phil Lester came into this world like anyone else. However, he is far from normal. Born with intense magic powers, he has trained his entire life with a teacher to help him control himself so that he may live a normal and safe life without endangering himself or others. When he finally gets an opportunity to be on his own, Phil auditions for a magic and variety show in the city, where he meets the young proprietor Dan Howell. He is hired on the spot for his outstanding skill. Dan becomes intrigued by the talent of this new magician, but as he gets closer with him, he begins to think... Is it really all just an illusion? Straight camp - a horrible place where people are sent to become straight. They will beat you, starve you, and torture you until you are "cured." But not anymore. A group called the Rebellion, lead by the proud lesbian Rosa, is ready to break free. Seventeen year old Phil Lester is nervous to go, but is convinced by the one he loves, the beautiful Dan Howell. Will they make it out together and be free, or will the torture and pain persist on and on...? (Warnings and triggers: rough language, derogatory words, angst, thoughts of suicide, self harm)
