***2016 WATTY AWARD WINNER - VORACIOUS READS*** WINNER OF THE FICTION AWARDS 2016 - HISTORICAL FICTION Against all odds, Libby Marks-Whelan is back at court - and no longer confined to the service corridors as a lady-in-waiting. With the start of the new Winter Season, however, the competition for a crown just got a lot fiercer. Now that there are two princes searching for wives, Libby struggles not just against the other debutantes but also against the monotony of court life in her new position. With the queen's disapproval aimed squarely in her direction, will she weather the storm to win her prince? ***Please note that this story is the sequel to The Season. Since there are many characters, backstories, and subplots that I won't be able to fully explain in the first few chapters, I strongly recommend you read The Season first!***

It's Albus Potter's last year at Hogwarts. Everything is good until Hogwarts is forced into a lock down for all its students and summer break isn't coming. It all started with an attempt of kidnapping, but then some of his family members are in mysterious attacks. After some of his closest family members go missing, Albus realizes what the people behind the kidnappings and attacks want. After the fear outside of Hogwarts comes, the school takes immediate action and knows that to protect the students that it needs to be in lock down. But what will happen when these mysterious people know a way to get into the castle on their own? I DO NOT OWN "HARRY POTTER" OR ANY OF IT'S CHARACTERS BECAUSE THEY ALL BELONG TO JOANNE KATHLEEN (J.K.) ROWLING!

Only, both know deep down this was more than that. Will they have the courage to come together? This is another co-written story! I wrote Draco's parts while Friend-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named-Even-Though-Her-Name-Is-So-Common-Nobody-Would-Know-Who-She-Is-Anyway-So-This-Is-Pointless wrote Hermoines parts! Enjoy!

When a boy, who's already lost everything, and a girl, who can't help but question what she has, meet, it's like destiny itself brought the two together. Artemis Lupin is a young witch with an air of charm and sarcasm. She has a way of getting on your nerves yet you can't help but like her. But underneath that seemingly 'open book' lies a girl who never belonged. Even though she's supposed to be a member of a high status pureblooded family, she's always had trouble adapting to their rules. Nobody knows exactly how much she's struggling with herself and the nightmare that never seems to go away. As she tries to prevent her friend from getting killed because of his dangerous curiousity and disability to think ahead, she gets sucked more and more into the mystery of the Philosopher's Stone. ~~~~ The girl with golden hair is the first book in the Artemis Lupin series. She was used to investigating mysteries on her own. People were untrustworthy. They lied. They tried to change the past. But the past couldn't be changed. Her own past was complicated. Especially because she wasn't the one hiding it, it was kept from her. For a good reason, they thought. The dream was her only lead. The only way to figure it all out. The dream was simply the end of a curse and the beginning of a nightmare. Because some secrets are better kept secret. The web of lies and deceit only got more complicated. Familymembers talked out of turn. The wise man was far too interested and the dark saw the truth in her eyes. Because her dream was simply the story. The story of betrayal, friendship but mostly death. But the thing that could ruin it all, was the very thing they couldn't change. It was the only truth in the past of lies. Her grey eyes and his black blood. ~Completed on June 20 2016~ (*Disclaimer* all rights go to J.K. Rowling. You can read this without having read the book.)
