Medusa was a priestess of Athena. She was a beautiful maiden who vowed to be celibate her entire life. Athena loved Medusa, until a horrid accident happened in Parthenon. Medusa and Poseidon were caught in the middle of sexual intercourse. The scene triggered a flame in Athena, who went livid and cursed Medusa. Formerly a pretty girl transformed into an ugly creature. Medusa was heartbroken. She kept saying that it was not her fault and Poseidon had tricked her. So, Athena made a promise. If Medusa finds someone who loves her and accepts her flaws, the curse would be lifted. The questions are who will fall in love with Medusa or how will they even express their feeling when one glance turn everyone to stone? 3,000 years ago, there lived a Gorgon named Medusa. At one glance, she could turn a person to stone with her ugliness. No one knew how old she was, or how she had gotten to be so hideous, but it was rumored that the Goddess Athena had made her that way. Medusa had never known love, constantly shunned by everyone, and anyone that dared to even enter her cave was turned to stone. Until one day, a blind girl was sent as the sacrifice.

A young woman who was blinded at a young age is taken to the island where the woman who's stare turns you to stone, lives. Her quest? to behead the once beauty. But she ends up failing her mission. For she falls in love with Medusa. This is their story. ----- In no way is this story is true. The only true aspect is Medusa. This is my first time writing a book like this. So please be mindful. "Medusa and the Blind girl" is a romance about two castaways. Medusa was rejected by loved ones and feared by all, she retreated to her cave for solitude. That is, until a blind, skinny girl climbs up to her cave. Thrown out by her people, the blind girl stumbles upon Medusa's cave, caused by an attempt as suicide. Blind and useless, she had nothing in her life. Hiding her true identity, Medusa befriends the blind girl named Ilia. How she would react would remain unknown for as long as she can keep it a secret.
