"She yearned for a beautiful reality so much, she started looking for a fake one." (Unbound by Sea, Chapter Eight) **** What happens when your life is a mess? No, you have no one to lean on for that. Like everyone else, Bridgette has a story behind her somehow apathetic view on life. As if coping with parental loss weren't hard enough, life decided to play on with her identity crisis in a new city. When everyone else seems to be carving their best memories in high school, her's seems to be filled with falling in love with the wrong person, getting caught in running away from life, and teen angst in general. Except, nothing else seems to be 'general' ever since a particular guy walked into her life like he owned it. Forgetting your wrong love of the past would be hard work, but moving on for all the wrong reasons while finding yourself in the process, doesn't make it easier. Unbound By Sea pictures the urban life of teens and the complexities of the city souls. It's all about drifting away from people you love, being lost in an isolated world, running away from reality, and despite an era of 'no boundaries', being unbound by sea.
