After dragging Captain America out of the Potomac River, he seeks to find out who he really is. The only thing he has in the name that Captain gave him, Bucky Barnes. As he sets out to find out who he is he meets a woman. This woman offers to help him with his past, but does she have other motives. As he begins to trust her, other emotions begin to stir and awaken along with painful memories of his past. Can she help heal the broken man he is?

The Winter Soldier just rescued Captain Rogers from the helicarrier crash and is now rediscovering himself in DC. Who the hell IS Bucky? Eventually he is reunited with Captain America just in time to combine forces against another branch of HYDRA.

Sequel to You Are Not a Monster (so if you haven't read that, STOP HERE because you need to read it first). After Steve finds Bucky at the Smithsonian exhibit, he takes him back to the Avengers Tower in hopes of fixing his broken friend. Of course, things don't go exactly as planned, and a rescue mission of some sort is in order. However, they face an unexpected enemy along the way.
