This is a portion of a much bigger story I'm currently working on - I just need a place to put it for now. It will eventually tie into the Drew and Dan Need to Shut Up universe. ***WARNING*** This particular tale involves the depiction of rape. If it bothers you, by all means, please skip over this. I've got a few other stories you can read. :)

Life for everyone is predictable in Gabriella Preston's world. You're expected to attend school, learn as much as possible - maybe even a trade, and on your eighteenth birthday your parents give you gloves. You wear your gloves everywhere in public until that moment you find yourself drawn to someone else so strongly, that you have no choice but to remove your gloves, touch them, and live happily ever after. At least, that's how Gabriella thought it worked before her family moved. (I wrote two versions of this. Both share some similarities, but have different plot points throughout. This is the more "adult" version of the two. I will put a warning before the chapter that contains those themes, so if you're not into that, you can skip over that particular part and continue reading. The other version one is more strictly "PG." I'd suggest that you could read both, but I don't want to be pushy. :) )
