Troye is deaf after being stricken with a high fever on night. His gift, his beautiful voice means nothing now that he can't hear. It takes a while but soon his family adapts to the change. Years pass, and out of the blue Troye's family dies and he is whisked away to a society in the middle of nowhere, where perfection is the key to survival, and it's a crime to stand out. There he meets conflicts, and the love of his life, but what's to be come when perfection gets to be to much?
