"Pathetic." Yamaguchi startled awoke with a start, the blaring ringing of his alarm clock hurting his ears. Walking down the stairs, he heard two voices conversing together, one belonging to his mother, another to a stranger. Entering the living room, he saw a tall man wearing a suit talking to his mother, who was now grinning from ear to ear. After conversing for a few more minutes (while Yamaguchi stood there awkwardly,) she finally noticed him and beckoned him closer. "Dear, I want you to meet this simply wonderful person!
