The War Within is a story about Bree Southerly, a girl growing up within the huge walls of her mother and father's castle. She learns dark family secrets that tear her soul to pieces. This is the beginning of lies and deception for Bree, the truth of her past and her journey of finding hope in her darkest hour. Sometimes in life you find pure joy... These times are few and far between, so I have learned that when God gives me something to be joyful about, I write a poem on it. Some things that I receive joy from are, watching a sunset, seeing little children smile, baby animals crossing the road with their mama, smelling pastries in the oven, spending time with my loved ones and writing.
