#39 Humor - Top Ranking. ******* @ Lucifer was named by her hippie grandparents. @ Lucifer is Nerd. But a different kind of. @ She speaks than Regrets. @ Her outbursts are amusing and terrifying at the same time. @ Her family thinks that sometimes she is a bi-polar with too much amount of sarcasm in her system. @ But then she meets Aylward Dashford, and her words are all over the place or jumbled or just pure stupid or too mean or sarcastic or aw cutest. But never normal. @ Lucifer encounters the hottest quarterback, captain of football and basketball team. On the first meeting, she accidentally knocks out the sexy guy on the football field. This was my chance the Coach's back was turned towards me. I stretched my arm upwards, pulling the hockey stick back and threw it in the air watching it flew like a giant bird across the field. My intentions were pure to scare the coach and make him realize that he is not in the military and we are not his brats, but that didn't happen. Because shit just got real. The hockey stick flew past the point I was aiming at, it kept swinging towards the coach's head. The Coach bent down at that exact moment and my eyes locked with the boy he was scolding. We stared at each other and than my hands flew to my mouth when the hockey stick punched him square in the face. The boy's green eyes widened and his body flew backward colliding with the ground. A loud whimper-cry was heard and I saw the football team gathering around him, that was my cue to run. "Run..." I screamed at Olivia and Zen who instantly started to sprint after me. We were soon out of the football field and into the hallway. We literally ran for our lives stopping only when the locker-room came into view. "You are crazy." Olivia panted with hot blush covering her face, sweat bids falling down from her forehead. Zen was red and was hunched over catching his breath. Then she screamed in our faces. "Zen she bloody knocked down the quarterback."

If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction

Josephine McMaster is pretty and smart, but very much a klutzy mess. Finally, at 26, she may have actually lost the dreaded 'McMaster the Disaster' nickname that has followed her around her whole life. Josie's quite content to be single, much to her mother's disappointment. So when a bizarre contest is announced where a socialite is holding a lottery to pick her bridesmaids (and rake in a little extra cash), she can't roll her eyes fast enough, even if it does mean meeting Jake Hall, her one and only movie star crush. Obviously, Josie doesn't enter the bridesmaid lottery, so you can imagine her surprise when her picture pops up among the winners, thanks to Mom. With a little prodding -- okay bribing -- Josie agrees to participate. The wedding turns into the event of the year, and Josie finds herself in the middle of a paparazzi feeding frenzy, which gets even crazier after Jake Hall takes a special interest in her. Can Josie handle the pressure in the spotlight? Is it possible she might really have a chance with Jake Hall? And if she's busy worrying about all that, how in the heck is she going to keep 'McMaster the Disaster' from showing up in front of the entire world?
