Katherine Pulitzer; Grand Duchess. Or is she? Katherine Pulitzer was 8 years old when her family was ripped away from her right before her eyes. She was found with no recollection on her life and no name except the one sewn into her clothes. The only connection to her life and the future, Paris. Jack Kelly is a conman. A common boy who has learned to survive with the help of a little mischief and little white lies. When him and his best friend Davey hear a rumor that the princess is still alive as well as a reward for finding her; they jump at the first chance to find their own Katherine and bring her to her grandmother in Paris. But none of them are right. Katherine is 18 and no longer in care of the orphanage. She's off on her own in the world to figure out who she was. She then meets Jack Kelly and Davey Jacobs who are convinced she'd be the perfect "princess". The reward, they'll take her to Paris with them. She must learn to act like the princess, but then again, wouldn't she remember? A run to Paris while hiding from her families killers along the way, a romance budding between two who thought they hated one another, a Grand Duchess to find and a past to remember. Will the princess ever be found? Or is it Au Revoir to her forever?

His relationships with his living friends becomes strained as he gets lost in the "what-if"s of his life. That's until things finally start to come together. As his life begins to fall into place in ways he never thought possible, he can't help but wonder if it's his dearly departed friend guiding him in the right direction. Is there someone from beyond helping him to succeed? If so, what is the presence's plan, and what does it have to do with the mystery girl he saw at the funeral? Modern Newsies AU inspired by the song "Those You've Known" from Spring Awakening.

"You certainly look busy," he smirked, desperately eyeing her for a response. After a small jump, she hissed. "Excuse me! This is a private box!" Katherine brandished her ID for the school paper, as the same nasty smirk crept onto her face. "And I don't talk to strangers." "You'd make a pretty lousy school reporter then." The stranger snipped, a hint of teasing in his sultry voice.
