"As I sat on the toilet, I realized how badass I was being. First of all, I (kind of) broke into Walmart; Second, I was (kind of) plotting to steal toilet paper; and third, I was doing all this while a hurricane was brewing outside." Ellie wanted a quick trip to Walmart to buy some toilet paper for her mom. A minute in, a minute out. Instead, she got locked in. With her secret love, of course.

Eleri Walker has never met the infamous school bad boy, Zacharias Hunt. That’s until she walks into the middle of a vicious fight between the devil himself and a rivalling family. Upon finding herself in an uncompromising position, Eleri is drawn unfathomably close to the misunderstood “uncaring feral” that her three brothers and father are so wary of. But when it seems that Zacharias has a habit for pushing people away, her curiosity gets the better of her, as with every push he gives, she takes a prompt step closer. After all, Eleri has always been venturesome at heart, and by joining him in his riotous ways, she hopes that reading his story will come on a side platter. However, as with most of her plans, there’s one big flaw. Not everyone’s life is laid out in black and white, and she of all people should know that this time everything is really just a case of how well the both of them can read between the lines. PLEASE NOTE: This story has been discontinued due to writer's block. Feel free to enjoy the chapters that are posted online or read my other book, The Player Game, which is completed.

Seventeen year old Talia Asbury is most definitely not a coffee addict, like so many her age. In fact, she is the farthest thing from it. There is nobody who dislikes coffee more than she. So how did she score a job working at the only decent coffee shop in her small town? Her job isn't exactly the brightest thing in her world, but it's something she needs desperately. But enter college freshman Zachary Dunmore, who needs coffee like he needs air. Outgoing, abrasive, and addicted to caffeine, he and Talia don't get along from the start. But when something brings the two together for more than a simple coffee drink at a run-down café, the tables turn and so does their relationship. All he wanted was a café au lait; all she needed was a job.
