For hundreds of years the Darklings have been banished to the Inkbane Forest by powerful magic. The Kingdom of Light has grown and flourished, but so too have the Darkling cities... built in darkness. Then, one day, a Darkling Prince and his two servants step out of the forest and into the light. He finds himself in the capitol city and connects himself to the local underground. Magefalcon is a young man who doesn't know he has powerful magic. He also has no idea that he's part of a prophecy that controls the fate of another world. Pinewatch is the most powerful human wizard since the first Magefalcon. He's the only human besides the first Magefalcon himself to have a red dragon. Nightshade is an elf with more power than elves hundreds of years older than her. These three are the key to the prophecy. Will their combined power be enough to stop the evil?
