Kenny's face was stricken with tears, running over her bruises, a reminder of what happened moments before. Bloodstains were on my jeans, blood from the unconscious blond man slumped against the wall. "Kenny, you are too stuck on what happened in the past. It happened, let it go!" Kenny cries harder, and I want to comfort her, but Axel's angry facial expression has me paralyzed. "And you," he starts, looking directly at me, "you are so afraid that she won't feel the same way that you never told her how you really feel towards her." All was silent. I saw Jace start to move in the corner of my eye, but I didn't dare move. "You both need to quit being stubborn, because you're made for each other!
