Words written in verse can open up your, heart, soul and mind. They allow you to vent your emotions, describe scenes of beauty or just be an expression of who you really are. I didn't expect to get to the end of my first poetry book, never mind start a second but here we go - part two of my poetic heart.

This is a short story of the truth of Cinderella. Was she an innocent girl or a theif? Did her dad really die or was locked up in the cellar? And did the prince and Cinderella fall in love.....hmmm you just have to read and see

Have you ever felt like you wanted to tell someone, anyone, everyone what you felt about them, but never could? Those thoughts and feelings just get bottled-up inside of you and you don’t know what else you can do. I used to feel this way, I am still feeling this way, but now I’ve realized I can unravel those raw emotions into the only way I know how: through writing. These poems express experiences in my life where I wanted to say something to someone, but never got the chance or the courage to do so. I’ve learn that you shouldn’t wait when you can speak now. All of these confessions that I have held back for forever are now being set free for the world to hear.

'Standing up I looked straight at Professor Garrett, smirking evilly. "Hi, my name's Christy Evans and I'm an English major. Let's see," I said tapping my chin in concentration, all the while trying not to laugh out loud, "I'm the leader of a group of intergalactic beings who are here to terminate all those who are deemed too conceited for the good of civilization," pausing I gave Professor Garrett a pointed look of my own, "I live on planet screw you, and I'm allergic to bullshit." Smirking and feeling very satisfied with myself, I waited for Professor Garretts next move. ' -When Christy finds her long term boyfriend isn't who she thought he was, what will she do?
