Sometimes we bump into a certain person who is undeniably familiar to us, that we seem to have heard her voice before and that we seem to get used to the person's sick sense of humor. This is what Jake feels around Alex. He would mistake her as Lexa, Chicago's famous radio host and the only girl he has been dreaming to spend the rest of his life with. *sighs* Fanboy issues. It just so happens that his theory is utterly correct, that what he has been thinking about Alex is, without any doubt, the truth. Alex is Lexa. Alex is the very same voice Jake has been hearing on the radio. And she is just pretending to be a normal person, trying to hide the celebrity inside of her. Who knows? The paparazzi can be anywhere. But Jake, being extremely stupid for not pointing out the oh-so-obvious details, doesn't know the exact truth about Alex or anything that is close to knowing her identity. Secrets can still be kept. But an identity can't be hidden forever. © Copyright 2013 Cynthia Green

A cupid has one job: Shoot an arrow and make someone fall in love with the right person. (Okay, that’s two jobs.) But how hard can hitting humans be, right? Turns out it’s very hard when another cupid has a target near yours. And when the targets fall in love with each other instead of the people they’re supposed to fall in love with. To set things right, the two will have to work together, with all their cards on the table. Unfortunately for River and Vanilla, since arrows can only be shot once per person, this might be a little less than romantic. Or so they think. ◦ A story co-written by seanarturo and BehindTheNiqab ◦

Katie Holmes is a caffeine addict. Between college, and taking care of her brother, it's acceptable. Though, it doesn't help that the cafe down the street is full of handsome baristas, including one William Cerak in particular who has a mysterious scar on his wrist. Synopses will be the death of my publishing career.

Meet Hensley Clark, a totally and completely normal seventeen year old junior in high school who sees the cup as half-full. With her best friend of eight years, Oliver, a steady after-school job in her town's local shopping mall and a half-way boyfriend, she's perfectly content the way that her life is going. For the most part, that is. Overwhelmed by the pressure of keeping a huge secret that could potentially destroy her entire family along with trying to keep her grades up and constantly being forced to babysit her younger siblings, Hensley's only trying to make it out of high school and out of her small town in Florida alive and with her sanity. Now meet Waverly Barnes, a dangerously different seventeen year old junior in high school. Emotionally and mentally scarred by the events of her dark and disastrous past, Waverly is the complete opposite of Hensley Clark, which is a logical explanation for why these two girls cannot stand each other. She's an introvert with basically one friend, her older brother, Finley, if you can even call him a friend. Convinced that the world is full of terrible people, Waverly tends to keep to herself. When these two entirely different girls find their lives clashing together all of a sudden, Hensley head-over-heels in like with Waverly's brother, Finley, and Waverly herself getting enveloped in a mild case of serendipitous love, courtesy of Hensley's best friend, Oliver, the two girls are in for an exciting few months. Can Hensley fulfill her dreams of getting out of Florida forever? Will Waverly overcome her past hardships and finally be able to trust again? Can these two totally divergent girls get past their hatred for one another and be friends? Or will this fragile state of grace come crumbling to pieces?
